We met at 10 am at the Christie Creek Reserve at Christie Downs and it was good to see 11 of our members turn up.

It was a hot day and we collected quite a few bags of rubbish.

We found car tyres, fencing wire and all sorts.

After a few hours of steady work we decided that we had done enough and we were all pretty tired and hot.

We went  back to the cars and the cold drinks were a treat.

After that we drove to along Dyson road and down a little track that we knew.

Chris and I found a lovely spot among the trees, where we decided to set up our barbies and have a late lunch .

Some of our members just stayed for drinks, some stayed and enjoyed lunch in a great bush setting.

The nice thing about it is, that it so close to home and such a nice place.

Perhaps we can take the club there one day for a barbie.
